The Camel Man

Noel McKay headed to the Western Australian mining town of Coolgardie to relax and lead an alternative lifestyle.

Within twelve months, the locals discovered that he was a sparky - his free time was up. As the town had no electrician, word quickly spread that Noel could fix those pesky electrical and wiring problems that people had left alone.

Being a self-confessed bower bird (he collects masses of old electrical gear, parts and machinery) he has at hand close to any spare part you could possibly need!

As Noel explains, being a tradesman enables him to work for himself and work the hours he wants to, depending on demand of course. But it's this freedom that allows him to pursue his other passion in life....
