Environmental Mining
Veronica Warren is an Environmental Graduate for Centennial Coal. She works with the Environmental Co-ordinator to carry out water management, hydro carbon management and dust management testing for Centennial Coal.
SkillsOne visits Veronica as she is carrying out some water testing on a creek down stream from the site to make sure everything is in environmental accordance.
She shares the process of testing the water, why and how it's analysed. She also chats about the environmental standards used at the mine, including dust gauges and noise levels.
She also chats about what it's like working as a female in the male-dominated mining industry.
