Mark Percival – Bananas

Mark discusses the process of banana harvesting, and the precautions that are taken throughout the process to ensure the bananas are kept in the best possible condition for sale. He takes us through the cycle from picking to the supermarket shelf, to the time they’re bought and the shelf life of the bananas. Mark also outlines some of the jobs available on banana plantations, and the sort of work involved in each job.
