Investing in Bricks and Mortar

Today we watch Danny Barratt from Full Brick Homes working on a building site. He is a fully-trained brick layer and gives us a run down on his job and the opportunities in building and construction for apprentices.

Maureen Barratt informs that there is a shortage of qualified bricklayers: with more and more builders/brick-layers retiring, there is an urgent need for a steady flow of young trainees to enter the system and take their place, but this is not happening, and so hence there is a lack of skilled workers in this industry.

We also chat to apprentice bricklayer, Lloyd Schiman, about his career choice, whilst observing how he puts his skills with bricks and mortar to use!
