HTN visits the Pacific Pearl

On Thursday 29th September, 2011 a group of young school-aged students with an interest in hospitality were offered the very special opportunity to take a tour aboard the cruise ship Pacific Pearl, thanks to HTN and Macarthur Workplace Learning.

The opportunity was created to encourage the students to consider the many options available within the hospitality industry, as well as serving as a reward for their hard work and dedication.

The students were not only taken on a tour of the ship - including the galley - but they were also treated to lunch at the ship's main restaurant. Two students were also awarded major awards which included their own chef's jackets, as well as a placement with Aqua Dining - one of Sydney's premier restaurant providers.
