2013 Tasmanian Training Awards

'The Awards for Excellence in Vocational Education and Training'

Winners of the 2013 Tasmanian Training Awards were announced at a gala presentation dinner at Wrest Point Conference Centre on Friday, 6 September. More than 500 people, including the Minister for Education and Skills Nick McKim MP, helped celebrate the Awards, an annual recognition of excellence for our apprentices, trainees, vocational students, employers and training organisations.

The Tasmanian Training Awards are the peak State Awards for Vocational Education and Training (VET), recognising innovation and excellence in the training sector. 17 awards were offered this year.

Winners from the Tasmanian Training Awards (in aligned categories) will have the opportunity to compete with other states and territories to be named the best in Australia at the Australian Training Awards! The award winners will be announced in Perth on Friday, 22 November.
