WorldSkills Australia Nationals – Brisbane 2010 – Hairdressing

Pamela got into the WorldSkills Competition through her local TAFE in Townsville.

Pamela started hairdressing at school when she was 15 and has now been doing it for 9 years.  She loves the creativity in the job and the possibility of travel.

Pamela enjoys the whole process of hairdressing – colouring and up-styling in particular, she loves the fact that it always changes.

One day Pamela hopes to join the fellowship of hairdressing and work overseas.

Her younger sister is an apprentice and mother been in the hairdressing business for 12 years (management rather than hands-on).
