RMIT’s Visual Merchandising program is where creativity meets commercial design. The program has strong industry links and draws vitality from its current and graduate students. Their design based curriculum is ‘hands-on’ and is monitored and delivered by professional visual merchandisers and practicing professionals.
Visual Merchandising is the art of combining good design with product, environment, and space to create stimulating and engaging spatial displays that encourage the sale of a product or service. It has become an important and essential component in the design of retail, exhibitions, events, and photo styling.
