Robert Hinrichetson – Owner, Kalfresh

Kalfresh produces carrots, onions, green beans and pumpkins – harvesting during the winter season starting around July and finishing up around Christmas.

Robert discusses the kinds of workers that Kalfresh attracts, including many grey nomads who he believes are a great asset to the harvest. Robert takes us through the kinds of work available at Kalfresh, including field work, tractor and forklift driving work as well as in-house packing positions.
