Michael Nixon – River Lodge

Michael works as a grower at River Lodge in Carnarvon, Western Australia.

River Lodge grows bananas and herbs, focusing on basil.

According the Michael, the growing season starts around March, with harvesting beginning April/May.

Michael discusses the jobs that are available and what’s involved in each job, as well as the training that is offered for pickers.
