Mark Percival – TAFE NSW North Coast Institute – Teacher

In this video Mark takes us around the Coffs Harbour Education Campus – Primary Industries, where people can study animal sciences and horticulture.

Mark discusses the courses that are available and what they involve, as well as outlining the sustainability initiatives that are being implemented by the campus.

According to Mark, the blueberry industry is expanding rapidly in the local area, as well as the trend of farmers switching to organics – an industry shift which he says the courses are tailored to.

The school is in constant contact with the industry to make sure that all teaching methods and learning outcomes are up-to-date and meeting industry needs.
