James Jarrett – Tyrrell’s Wines Employee

James started out as a wardrobe maker.

Deciding that he’d had enough of working in factories, James headed off with his friends to try picking.

He now works at Tyrrell’s Wines, picking, pruning, fertilising and generally working all aspects of the vineyard.

James takes us through the process of pruning the vines, and the importance of the process in preventing disease to the plants.

James enjoys his work, and the opportunity it gives him to spend time with his family.
