To support our community, Wyong Shire Council offers Scholarships and Internships each year to Wyong Shire students.
Internship Program:
The Internship Program is a twelve month program that provides you with valuable experience as well as show you the array of local Government opportunities available upon your completion. The Internship Program provides you the opportunity to:
- Gain skills and experience across a broad range of functions in your relevant area of study
- Participate in two, six month rotations through key disciplines
- Apply your knowledge to achieve practical and professional outcomes
- Work with highly proficient mentors and colleagues in a multi-disciplinary environment
Scholarship Program:
The Scholarship Program is designed to provide you
an opportunity to broaden your knowledge about Wyong Shire Council and gain exposure to your field of study including areas such as: Business; Social Science; Natural Resources; Environmental Management; Human Resources; Urban Planning; Engineering and Information Technology.
The Scholarship Program provides participants with access to skilled professionals and the opportunity to contribute to projects and significant achievements within our community.
