The Crop Doctors

We join the professionals who are engaged in tackling the challenges of productive cropping. Plant pathology is the scientific study of plant diseases. By identifying pathogens and the environmental conditions that allow them to flourish, it is possible to increase the productivity and quality of a crop.

The Department of Primary Industries, through the Agriculture NSW arm, aims to improve yields, quality and sustainability of the agricultural sector. Staff deliver research, development, development and education programs in the fields of productivity, food security, climate, water and soil.
