Rotary – State Training Awards 2014

On 1 July 2014, Rotary District 9675 welcomed the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the NSW Department of Education & Communities for the 2014 NSW Training Awards. The President of the Rotary Club of Sydney, Geoff Wilbow, signed off on the MOU together with the General Manager, State Training Services, David Collins.

This now means a partnership between Rotary and DEC can commence in planning, organising and staging the largest awards event in the Vocational Education & Training Sector. With around 600 people expected to attend the 2014 event in Darling Harbour in September, Rotary District 9675 is proud to be managing this event.

The 2014 NSW Training Awards night will highlight all the finalists across the various categories from eleven regions in NSW.  Each region has already held their own awards events and now the winners from each category will represent their region at the NSW Training awards. The Hon. Minister for Education, Adrian Piccoli, joined by District Governor, Barry Antees, will head the list of VIP guests expected to attend the awards.
