Industry Ambassador – Jesse-Lee Gladwell

Jesse’s journey began while getting an eyebrow wax, when her beautician mentioned a trainee position available. Jesse decided to give it a go and went on to complete an apprenticeship at the Cains Beauty Academy and received her Diploma in Beauty Therapy and Certificate II in Nail technology.

However it wasn’t until the 2009 Worldskills competition that she really perfected her skills.

Jessie enjoys not only the practical side of her job, but the connection she makes with her customer and the confidence she gains from being good at and loving what she does.

One day Jess would like to travel around the world with her skills to learn new techniques and bring that knowledge back to Australia where she would like to one day own her own Spa. Jessie would also love to pursue teaching so she can pass on her experience and skills to others
