GTA Stories: Dean Arundell

A poor performing student can be given a new lease on life in an apprenticeship. Dean recalls how one of their apprentices made the transformation from classroom menace to business owner. A little mentoring, encouragement and hard work now benefits new apprentices, as the former student happily takes them on in his own business.

Australian Industry Group Training Services (AiGTS) specialises in placing people in the Manufacturing/Engineering industry, Warehousing and Office Administration. They have placed over 7000 apprentices and trainees.

Group Training Australia Limited (GTA) is the national association representing a network of around 150 Group Training Organisations (GTOs) located throughout Australia. Collectively the national network employs 35000 apprentices and trainees.
