24 hour cafe

Keno Hernandez - cafe owner and manager - has a passion for "good strong coffee" and food, especially exotic Spanish treats! He works long hours and is dedicated to the running of his father's cafe - "Cafe Hernandez" - which is located in Sydney's King's Cross and, being established in 1972, has been operating for 36 years.

The unique thing about Keno's business is not only that it is adorned with interesting paintings and artworks that mostly his Barcelonian-born mother has produced, but that "Cafe Hernandez" is open all day, every day, including public holidays., and Keno finds that this attracts many customers who have late night demands and need some nourishment, especially workers like doctors and nurses.

After studying Engineering for about 6 years, Keno realised his true calling was in the hospitality industry and says he has never looked back. And Keno never has to face the problem of getting stuck in traffic on his way to work - after-all, he lives upstairs, atop his cafe!
