GTA Stories: Michael Francis

Michael points out that an apprenticeship and a job can provide the solid base to living well. A young apprentice, under his company's care, recovered from a car crash and finished his apprenticeship. Michael believes the role of a GTO is to ensure that apprentices are directed to good and solid businesses.

A Plus is a not-for-profit company with a proven track record formed in 1982. They assist in providing apprentices and trainees more than fifty vocations adding value to businesses and industry.

Group Training Australia Limited (GTA) is the national association representing a network of around 150 Group Training Organisations (GTOs) located throughout Australia. Collectively the national network employs 35000 apprentices and trainees.
