As seen on ABC News website the ACT opposition says the Government needs to improve housing affordability to attract skilled workers to Canberra.
The Chamber of Commerce predicts Canberra will face a vast shortage of skilled workers in the next decade.
Chris Peters told the ABC News that there are shortages in all industries. "The skill shortage is going to be dramatically worse in five - ten years time"
Opposition Leader Zed Seselja thinks workers will not move to Canberra if they cannot afford housing. " We need to attract young people who were to come and settle here. They are going to need afforadable house to buy or rent" She said.
