The House with No Steps
The House with No Steps employs people with disabilities to work within their five business units – the packing shed, de-husking shed for macadamias, a farm, restaurant/café and a wholesale nursery. Employees take on activities such as sorting, packing, operating forklifts, picking fruit, and serving and cooking in the café. The employees are also encouraged to make goals and fulfil them, taking on training and working towards skilled employment. Mark also discusses the attractions of the local area.
