The inaugural Racing Victoria/SW TAFE Talent Identification Program for Riders camp was held at South West TAFE’s Glenormiston College Campus in South Victoria from Saturday September 26th until Saturday 3rd October 2009.
Sponsors include AgriFood Skills Australia, a training organisation, employers and potential employees - all coming together for this unique program.
Two riders were selected from each of the ten pony club zones which cover Victoria and 204 clubs; there were also two wildcard positions for ex-pony club members to apply for.
