SkillsOne heads to the Agri-Food Industry Skills Council Conference 2008. Lucy Nash finds out the challenges the Agrifood Industry is facing and how the leaders in Industry intends to rectify these.
We hear from Arthur Blewitt, the CEO of the Agrifood Industry Skills Council, about the challenges including skills shortages, qualifications, technological, environmental and cultural challenges.
We also hear from Brendan O'Connor, Minister for Employment participation, who shares how the Federal Government is addressing the Skills Shortage.
The views from several other prominent individuals are also heard, which includes Jeff Odgers, Philip Bullock, Beh Fargher and Sarah Adams.
