WorldSkills Australia Nationals - Brisbane 2010 - VETiS Tourism
Naomi is a year 12 student, who took advantage of the opportunity to do a TAFE course after a discussion with her Careers Counselor who suggested tourism would be a great starting point if she wanted to work in Hospitality.
Naomi is taking part in the VET in Schools program in Tourism. Although her ultimate goal is to work in Event management down the track, she is learning valuable skills about the hospitality industry that will help her in her future career.
Naomi is looking forward to competing in the Nationals again in 2012 so that she will be eligible to move onto the Internationals 2013.
