WorldSkills Australia Nationals - Brisbane 2010 - Cooking

Jesse's passion for cooking started at a young age- 13 to be exact, as his cousin owned a restaurant and let Jesse get involved in the kitchen. Fast forward a few years, and he is now a qualified chef working full time in Toowoomba.

Jesse enjoys trying new creations, such as a lamb dish he prepared today with two different types of lamb on the same plate. While in the kitchen, he says things can get pretty stressful but its important to remember to respect your colleagues and work as a team.

While he is competing against some pretty talented chefs, Jesse still has high hopes of winning gold and moving on to London 2011.
