A Flowery Art
Chris Thompson of Pearsons Florists was initially a gardener but finds more creativity, variety and security in the floristry industry. He has big dreams, with the hope of one day owning his own florist shop. Chris is particularly keen in the corporate area of floristry.
Valentine's Day is the biggest event on the florist's calendar with the demand for flowers, particularly roses, being astronomical.
Chris said that the challenge is to figure out how to re-present a flower which has been presented in so many different ways already.
Most of us are aware that a red rose signifies passion, but did you know that sending someone an orange rose means that you desire them!?
