Lidcombe TAFE Design Centre has a world-class reputation as a specialist centre in the design industry - particularly in interior design, furniture design and product design. SkillsOne chats to Philip Boddington, who teaches furniture design at Lidcome TAFE.

We chat to two of his students, both award-winners for their furniture designs. Watch and see what opportunities this course lets you into!

Mary Harrington designed a chair and won an award for "Genes for Jeans" day with its innovative design and use of materials.

Khoa Trinh Dao who has graduated from the course. Khoa designed a chair, called Rolla, which won him a scholarship to study design in Florence, Italy.
