Only a few years ago, Frans Walschots had a corporate career with a side interest in boats and a love for timber.
With a need for change, he decided to take the plunge and establish Capeboatworks - a company that provides timber boat kits to any enthusiast keen on building their own vessel.
In four years, Capeboatworks have become innovators in timber boating, kits and design to help a person's boating and sailing dreams become a reality.
They are number one in the market place as the largest kit manufacturer in Australia.
Frans and fellow boat builder Damian Butcher explain some of their best designs and accomplishments and explain their plans for the future.
