Graduate Apprentice: Adam Barry
Adam Barry completed his apprenticeship in Fitting and Turning at the Queensland's Brain Institute. He chats to SkillsOne about the benefits of completing your apprenticeship.
He says its possible to get through an apprenticeship quicker if you focus on doing the work and getting through.
He is now working on all sorts of delicate jobs at the University of Queensland's Brain Institute - such as an observation bee hive.
With salaries up around $100,000 for qualified fitters and turners going into mining, he prefers his current work.
