Worldskills: The Manufacturing Team

We talk to the WorldSkills Australian Representitives for the Manufacturing Team Challenge (MTC), Joshua Morsillo, Samuel Pop and Matthew Nunn, and their mentor, MTC expert Geoffrey Ball.

They are at Ultimo TAFE to put the finishing touches to their project for the WorldSkills international competition in Japan. They will need to manufacture a wind generated water pump to precise specifications.

  REA & F1 in Schools at Menai High

  Skills One visits Menai High to see the six steps the kids complete when taking part in F1 (Formula One) Program in schools. This program which sees kids creating a model car from scratch, is a great vehicle (quite literally!) for industry to be brought into schools, giving students practical skills and training.
