WorldSkills Australia Nationals - Brisbane 2010 - Sheetmetal
When Brendan showed up at Work Experience towards the end of Year 10, little did he know it would define the next few years of his life. He impressed his supervisers so much that they asked him to come and start his apprenticeship immediately- which he did. He is currently employed by Alumac Industries. At night time Brendan goes to St. George TAFE where he continues his training.
Brendan says the best thing about his job is the diversity. Every day is something different, ranging from stainless steel work to boat repairs and building. While he is not entirely sure what his future holds, Brendan hopes to stay in the Sheet Metal Working industry.
