Over 35 years ago, toolmaker Carlos Broens arrived in Australia speaking limited English. Today he is the boss of the highly successful Broens Engineering company, employing over 140 staff and 34 apprentices.

Carlos understands and appreciates the value of apprenticeships in the development of his company. He encourages his staff to further their education and offers internal opportunities for employees to continue their growth in management positions.

Follow Carlos' story from his humble beginnings through to the present and into the future - and his goals for the manufacturing and engineering industry.
