WorldSkills Australia: The Countdown to London Begins! ft. Russell Routledge
In October this year, 29 of Australia’s best young skill champions will board a flight bound for London and their biggest career challenge to date. The 2011 Team Australia Skillaroos will demonstrate unequalled dedication and passion in their quest for gold for Australia and attempt to improve on our current ranking of 5th in the world. Team Australia will not only be competing for gold, but will also demonstrate to the rest of the world the high level of vocational education and training currently available within Australia.

She has both a Certificate II in Hospitality and a certificate III in Business Administration, Tristyn Davies believes in having the freedom to choose and change your mind. She describes having both these qualifications as giving her the options to follow many different career paths.Her advice for the WorldSkills competition is to focus on the instructions you are given and do what is asked. You must get the information right and look at all the small details. In the future Tristyn hopes to be working with her current job which she loves but hopefully moving up to a management position.
