Try a Trade
'Try a Trade' is a hands on initiative that is bringing trade skills to school students across NSW and giving them the chance to try a trade directly.
The unique project involves a large self-contained truck rolling up to local high schools across the region and setting up to 12 separate interactive booths, each one dedicated to a particular trade area.
Pupils, students, teachers and even principals have the opportunity to learn some of the skills involved in being a Chef, a Hairdresser, or a Mechanic for a day.
Meet the effervescent Project Manager Geoff Burton and watch him in action.
