We go behind the glamour and meet the down-to-earth team at McConaghy Boats, the name behind award-winning racing yachts around the world.

They would call themselves more of a family, having started from one man in the 60's to a world-class team of up to 150 when a big project is in operation.

With off-shoots in England and China, the Mona Vale-based company continues to craft one-off marvels such as the Leopard 3, Wild Oats X1, Rambler, Alfa Romeo, Morning Glory and Artforms.

In the process old faces have moved on and new faces taken over. We get the full story from Master Boatbuilder Steve Moxham on how McConaghy's has stayed a winner where others lose the race.
