University of Western Sydney: Real Skills in Retail
The ever changing retail industry requires new standards of management excellence, which in turn requires new skill sets for tomorrow's retail leaders. Retailers already recognise the need for more highly trained managers with a greater theoretical understanding of retail management.
The University of Western Sydney in partnership with Service Skills Australia have introduced the Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Retail Management) Degree. This Unique degree offers a combination of theory and practical training. During the degree you will work in a paid position in retail and study at the same time. It is structured to be flexible to meet the needs of both of you and your employer.
Retail already employs one in every 10 Australian workers and yet still suffers from a skills shortage.
