The Track Builder
Brett has been building tracks for 7 years with his business partner Jeff. They have constructed 20 new tracks and plenty more by remodelling. He built the Sydney Olympic Park mountain bike track, which is used for recreation and competition events.
He also built BMX Olympian Luke Madill's Olympic replica track in Sydney. Being riders and working out what riders want is vital to track building. Brett has been a rider. He is also a policeman in the bike unit which sees him repairing the inventory and taking part in big community events.
Track building for Brett is as much about family, community and a healthy society as it is about fun in the extreme sport of Mountain Bike 4 X.
