School Based Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Work Placements are a great way for students to experience work and undertake formal, on the job training as part of their Higher School Certificate. “The program is a really great way to encourage students to see their futures. You see their confidence build, you see how they mature and even the businesses that employ them love having young people in the workplace,” says Gigi Awadalla, School Careers Adviser.
