In Queensland, National Skills Week was launched by the Minister for Employment, Skills and Mining, The Honourable Stirling Hinchliffe MP at an official event in Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall on Tuesday 4 October.
The launch event included a range of hands-on trade skill exhibits, providing the public with an opportunity to speak to with industry and training representatives about pathways to a skilled career.
