Modify My Motor
Spiro Papadimitos gets to spend his days surrounded by cars, working out how to make them perform better. While this may seem like a dream job to some, Spiro knows that he’s only living his dream due to hard work and a steely determination.
Spiro is a qualified mechanic and performance tuner who finished his apprenticeship in the '80s and moved straight into opening his own business - AutoTech Engineering - at the ripe young age of 24, which he still runs today. While studying, he’d been saving his apprenticeship wage, as well as working extra jobs to get the money together for the business.
Spiro is passionate about what he does, and believes that working purely for money is waste of time. Spiro loves the sense of achievement gained from completing a job, the recognition (they’ve won numerous awards) and knowing that a customer leaves satisfied.
