Chisholm TAFE Hot Rod Project
Students at Chisholm Tafe reflect on the making of a 1932 Hot Rod for a class project and what it means to them.
They learn not only how to reach the major achievement of building a car (a car which they get to drive in the end!) but develop skills in all aspects of life, such as budgeting, design, engineering and manufacturing, automotive technology, panelbeating, spraypainting, team-work, innovation, creativity, communication and negotiation, problem-solving, management...
As one student said "It not only taught me valuable technical information; it taught me about life."
