Holden Hero

Joshua Stemm was all set to go to university when he was at school.

After two weeks of work experience with Eagers Holden in Newstead, Brisbane, he took up the offer of an apprenticeship.

Becoming an expert in electronic diagnosis helped him to compete for a place in the Australian WorldSkills team.

He next won Queensland Apprentice of the Year and only narrowly missed out on the award for Australian Apprentice of Year.

Highly motivated and ambitious, Josh has already received a promotion since completing his apprenticeship and looks forward to a bright future in the automotive industry.
