User Submission Conditions
These conditions cover The Institute for Trade Skills Excellence ("The Institute"), its online and television presence SkillsOne ("SkillsOne") and its producers The Australian Channel ("producers"). The terms "we" and "us" refer to these entities.
Copyright for the original work is retained by you for any photographs and videos you submit. If your photo(s) and/or video are accepted for broadcast but require editing, modification, writing or re-writing copyright for the new finished work is held by SkillsOne and owned by The Institute. We have the right to determine what photos and video will be used.
In contributing a User Submission, you grant SkillsOne a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to broadcast or publish and otherwise use the material in any way that we want, for all media worldwide, for the full term of copyright in the material.
You further agree that you will not submit material that is subject to copyright belonging to anyone else, the subject of any duty of confidentiality or any duty of fidelity owed to a third party, such as an employer, or otherwise subject to third party rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to post the material and to grant SkillsOne all of the licence rights granted herein.
You warrant that you have not taken any unnecessary risks or infringed any laws in creating or submitting your photos or videos.
We will not be liable for any releases you have not obtained for talent or location use.
The Institute, SkillsOne and its producers will not be liable for any damage, injury, disability, ill-treatment or death occasioned in relation to you creating of @Work Photos or Videos for uploading. We strongly advise users not to endanger themselves or others, not to exploit themselves or others, or infringe laws in the making of these works.
Any photographs or video uploaded by you may be used immediately by SkillsOne online communicated to any person or to the public by any means. For this reason you must provide contact details and brief descriptive information with your photo or video submission. We may contact you to follow up details such as credits, location, name or title spelling. This may enhance the chance of your submission being used online or on TV.
