Funding for RTOs to adopt e-learning solutions
Over $5 million has been awarded to support more than 90 registered training organisations (RTOs) across the country to deliver groundbreaking e-learning strategies for the vocational education and training (VET) system in an initiative called The Australian Flexible Learning Framework.
The Framework has provided selected e-learning innovations projects with funding to develop tactical e-learning solutions at both the state and territory level. The projects will be tailored to meet local education and training priorities.
This Australian Flexible Learning Framework attributes the vocational education and training (VET) system with the essential online learning infrastructure and expertise needed to respond to the challenges of a modern economy and the training needs of Australian businesses and workers.
It has made available $5.3 million in funding to RTOs for e-learning developments, which will help stimulate demand for, and improve access to, the infrastructure and resources needed to increase the uptake of e-learning in VET across Australia.
