SkillsOne visits The Gordon Institute of TAFE in Geelong, Victoria to tour the new state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly vacilities. The new buildings house brick-laying, horticulture, scaffolding and plastering. The Gordon Institute of TAFE has been meeting the Geelong region's education and training needs since 1887. Today the national training provider delivers more than 400 full-time, part-time and specialist courses across five campuses, while apprenticeships, traineeships and customised industry training programs are delivered in workplaces around Australia. Nationally accredited training at certificate, diploma, advanced diploma and degree levels is offered through seven teaching schools of: Art, Design and ICT; Building and Construction; Business and Management; Applied Sciences; Manufacturing; Community Services & Further Education and Tourism, Hospitality and Cookery.
