Modern & Ancient Milking Methods

In this video we see how Dairy Farmers Australia are engaging the public at the Royal Easter Show, educating people as to where in where their everyday food staples come from, the ancient and modern techniques used in milking and the perspective of a farm worker who works every day with cows.

Shannon who runs the dairy at the show gives insight into what it’s like working on a dairy farm.

Shannon chats about apprenticeship, and shows us the machines which are now used to milk cattle.

Shannon says it's great to work outdoors and with animals.
