25,000 Sky Dives Later

Sydney Skydivers is not only Australia's largest skydive company, but the largest skydive and parachute training centre in the southern hemisphere. They have offices at three of the best Skydiving locations in Australia: Sydney, Cairns and Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast). Sydney Skydivers are a member organization of the Australian Parachute Federation, the body responsible for safety standards and regulation of Sports Parachuting in Australia. The company has run the world sky-diving championships for 8 years running.

Director of the company, Phil Onis, is a life member of the Australian Parachute Federation (APF) as well as being a Tandem Examiner, Instructor examiner and Australia's most experienced skydiver and senior instructor and senior tandem master. Phil holds an APF Instructor examiner rating, APF Senior Instructor rating, and is a Licensed Display Organiser. In the video he talks about his job and the skills needed to teach people how to jump from planes (safely of course!)

Phil has competed in State and National Championships for sky-diving. He is also a very experienced pilot with a Class One instrument rating and over 3,500 hours in single and twin engine turbine aircraft; as well as being a Helicopter pilot. A man with many airborne skills indeed!
