The Sky's the Only Limit

Brock Afford is an award winning, qualified Baker. He is keen to use these skills to travel and work overseas, in either London or Dubai. The sky is only the limit for this guy with big hopes and dreams!

Brock finished school in your 12 and didn’t know what he really wanted to do. He has had various jobs from working as a kitchen hand, to customer service at Dan Murphy’s, and now Bakers Delight where he has been for the last 4 years. Brock wanted to get into a trade and get some skills and qualifications behind him, and it was his friends who alerted him about Bakers Delight and the opportunities that working for this company brings. After landing a job at Bakers Delight in St Leonard’s, Brock enrolled at TAFE study Certificate III Bakery and Pastry. The apprenticeship scheme is great way to master the trade, and his boss and mentor has been really supportive of his development.

Brock recently won the Ron Gillespie Award for being one of the top 20 Bakers Delight bakers in Australia and NZ!
