My mess becomes my message

Marcus Pedro typified the struggle many indigenous children face in the education system - he couldn't read, write or spell till his 30s and failed in several career paths.

But his story of perseverence, gaining self-believe and patiently acquiring trade skills and further education, helped to turn his life around.

Now he goes back to his roots to empower a new generation to believe in themselves and go for their dreams.
