In order to shed some light on the serious skills crisis which the Hospitality industry is facing a serious in Australia, SkillsOne met up with a worldwide renowned restaurant chain that has decided to tackle the issue head on.

Wagamama - specialists in noodles and Asian-style dishes - have joined forces with TAFE Australia to offer Certificates in Hospitality and Commercial Cookery which will provide on the job training to their staff so that they may learn immediate practical skills.

Today we will meet a TAFE representative, Wagamama Chef and an apprentice who discuss the benefits and objectives of this new training initiative.
